Toolhead Stabilization Kit for Dillon 550/650 Presses and RCBS Pro 2000/Piggyback -3 & -4 Presses

Enables Dillon 550 and 650, RCBS Pro 2000/Piggyback 3 and Piggyback 4 toolheads to be stabilized with screws into the press frame.  Requires no press modification; all modifications are to toolheads only.  Replaces the drop pins with screws for precise alignment and helps reduce OAL variation on bullet seating.

• Dillon XL 650, RL 550B, BL 550, AT 500 and SL 900
• RCBS Pro 2000^® and Piggyback™ -3 & -4

HOW IT WORKS

Installation involves drilling the holes in the toolhead slightly larger, and tapping them for threaded inserts.  No press modification is necessary.  To install toolhead in press, loosely thread screws and run press carefully until all stations are occupied.  With brass inserted in dies, lightly tighten screws to fix alignment of the toolhead perfectly.

ADDITIONAL TOOLS NEEDED

• Hand Drill or Drill Press
• Tap handle or clock key, available from Ballistic Tools
• Small flat head screwdriver
• Tapping lubricant (recommended)
